Yes, but according to the FP, our guru is still meditating. So the front page is wrong on two accounts.

Compared to the Sebring, they are ok. Not good, just ok. With the v6 they're a decent rental car.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

I made a similar joke earlier.
It was just a picture of a 200, and the word "ok."

It looks exactly like the other car made by the same company. My nice ex had one. It sucked. The door nearly fell off one day. Not even kidding.

Well according to Hertz rent-a-car they are also OK. Uhm, that's about it though. Possibly Enterprise, Dollar, and the other one.

I just read them all. Fascinating.
It was dumb luck that I got the more reliable 997.2. I didn't know it was more reliable than a 997.1. I just wanted factory Bluetooth and touch screen nav and LED tail lights, lol.
It would have cost less to get a 997.1 C2S and been the same power. But I wanted modernity and the warranty.

And I like the look of the rear of the 997.2 much more. Plus if you want and automatic, you basically have no choice because PDK bro.

The info in those articles is just plain amazing. Porsche does not care about their customers.
The only time they do the right thing is if you create bad press or they are worried about you doing that.
I think they might be bigger jerks than Ferrari.

I wonder if they'll give me free track time there if I buy the GT3 RS version of the 991 replacement.

I read somewhere that if you're looking to buy a car you can test drive it on the track.
Manuél Ferrari

06/07/2014 at 14:49 | 0 |
NO WAY
We must pretend to be buying cars from them once a month.
And we must both save for the future GT3 RS I mentioned. Why? Because it will be the last bespoke GT3 RS. After that the 911 will have the modular chassis shared with other VAG products.

06/07/2014 at 14:53 | 0 |
Yup...
Luckily Porsche will be the one that develops this modular platform that will be shared with the R8 and Lambo.
But the whole idea of it still kind of makes the future 911 seem less special.
Brian Silvestro
> Manuél Ferrari
06/07/2014 at 15:17 | 1 |
I keep forgetting lambo and Porsche are cousins. It would definitely be less special.
Manuél Ferrari

06/07/2014 at 15:21 | 0 |
The new Lambo is already last special than the last. Everyone says it's too Audi-like
All the VAG sports cars will eventually be the same thing with different badges and bodywork. They'll all have PDK and your performance will directly relate to how much you spend.

Related - I think the Aventador may be the best overall value right now.
I know it's very, very expensive. But I think it's still the best way for an ultra rich person to spend his money. Reasons:
1. It's a real Lambo. The V12 isn't shared with any VAG products (as far as I know).
2. It looks like the sex
3. It sounds like the sex
4. While the F12 may outperform it the Lambo looks better because mid engine format. They're both fast enough for public roads
5. The transmission tries to break your back
6. There are no cars cheaper than it that look more exotic
7. There are no cars more expensive than it that are really worth spending more. I see an Aventador maybe once every couple months. That's rare enough. Don't need to spend more on a Pagani.
8. The roadster version is totally impractical. Which a Lambo should be.
9. When painted grey it looks like a seriously powerful weapon
10. It's a Lambo, dude
Brian Silvestro
> Manuél Ferrari
06/07/2014 at 17:02 | 0 |
I was going to say F12 until you mentioned the back-breaking transmission of the Lambo. You might be right. Pagani would be the only argument, but it's almost 3 times as much money.

Haha I'm the worst
Well actually it's Ferrari's fault...
Imagine if the next one retains that design detail and goes turbo charged. I'll give up on them completely.
